 Herbietunes!


Herbie Gaines is a Chicago born and bred singer-songwriter. His years of 
experience at life weave their way through his thoughtful music. He sings 
stories of love, life, sex, the human condition and situations that can be 
serious or humorous, often with underlying social commentary . Affectionately 
labeled by one fan as "Herbietunes" -- his songs are sometimes sweet, sometimes 
tart slices of reality. They will touch your heart, challenging you to think, 
make you laugh, or even move you to tears. Herbie's unique and intelligent 
"cabaret-style" acoustic guitar show blends elements of rock, country, spoken 
word, jazz, and broadway; an entertaining and engaging experience from beginning 
to end. 

 	Another exciting event that Herbie can host 
	is something he likes to call "Herbie-Oke".  
	Herbie has taken over 400 songs, put them 
	in lower keys, and blown up the words to fit 
	a whole page in an easy to follow format!  He's 
	created a list of songs so people can easily 
	pick their favorites, then fill out a short form 
	with their choice. They can ask for 1. Him to sing, 
	2. Sing a duet with him, or 3. They can sing it 
	themselves (or in a group) while he plays the 
	background music.

	People have Thoroughly enjoyed actually singing with
	a live guitar, a foray into real music.  Friends and
	families enjoy watching each other perform, and there
	are songs for every age group.


One other feature Herbie has to offer is his outstanding Neil Diamond 
impression.  If you've always wanted to have Neil Diamond perform at 
your event, this is the guy to do it.  When he sings Neil's songs, 
it sounds exactly like the original.  It's like having Neil Diamond Perform
